Kit allows you to wire the socket to your battery with a fuse and a wire harness length of desired length.
This is a kit includes a female socket assembly with wire terminal boot, 6 feet of black and red 18 Gauge wire ( longer lengths of wire available upon request, at extra cost), waterproof fuse holder and fuse, two 1/4" ring type connectors for battery terminal connection, two butt splice connectors to connect fuse holder, two quick .250 female spade quick connects that mate with the socket, and an assortment of cable tie wraps to secure the wires.
The socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The contacts are nickel plated over brass. The socket is vibration resistant. It requires an 1-1/8" hole for mounting and has .250 quick male connectors. Rated for 15 amps at 12 volts DC.
It can be mounted in two ways, against a panel up to 1-1/4" thick with the retaining nut or for a thicker panel with the compression plate. Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or lockable marine plug.
Not for lighting cigarettes.
